Highgrove Double

Of the five Highgrove yearlings sold at the 2006 premier yearling sale, the first two to race are the very talented fillies Cajou (Encosta De Lago – Anacarde) and Espurante (Flying Spur – La Rose Noir). Both fillies stepping out in the $1 million Magic Millions 2yo Classic in 2007. A bad barrier for Cajou and two checks in running for Espurante, saw them run fourth and eighth respectively. History shows that many runners in the Magic Millions 2yo race go on to win stakes races during their career so we are hopeful that both these ‘Highgrove girls’ will follow that trend.
