Aushorse Marketing Singapore Champion Awards - 21 September 2009
The inaugural Aushorse Marketing Singapore Champion Awards was held at the Australian High Commission on the 17th September 2009, and Ron Gilbert from Highgrove Stud was present representing Aushorse Australia.
The Patrick Shaw trained Rocket Man was named the inaugural winner of the
Award and his South African based owner Fred Crabbia was present to receive a cold cast bronze statuette from renowned Australian artist Mary Pinsent’s Equine Series.
This award is the first of several exciting new initiatives being rolled out by Aushorse Marketing in this emerging racing region, where almost 50 % of the horses currently racing are Australian-bred.
Special guests at the event included the region’s leading trainers, owners, media and senior officials from the Singapore Turf Club.
